(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Mojang has announced the latest update to Minecraft Pocket Edition, calling it the biggest update ever for its mobile platform.
Update 0.9.0 is geared towards making the iOS and Android versions the best it’s ever been with the addition of many new features and changes, including unlimited worlds, more than 20 new blocks, five new mobs, updated biomes, new AIs, and world features.
This update isn’t just about adding new exciting features to the game, the developers have also tweaked and fixed numerous issues within the PE versions, such as fixing problems with names of stairs and slabs, improved the performance of TNT, and smoothed lighting for items such as cobwebs, chests, leaves, and glowstone.
The release date of update 0.9.0 has yet to be announced, however, Android users can now test the beta early by joining the Minecraft Google community.
