(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Minecraft’s developers have offered some new updates concerning the PS4, PSVita, and Xbox One versions of the game.
According to 4J Studios Twitter page, the PS4 was handed over to Sony earlier today for testing, while the PSVita still has more work to be done on it before it can be handed over to Sony.
As for the Xbox One, the developer stated that they are almost done bug fixing the game.
“Down to the last few bugs with #MinecraftXbox1 – hoping to hand it over to Microsoft by the end of the week!”
With this new information, it is safe to say that we won’t be seeing an August release as previously promised, though all three versions will most likely be released early to mid September.
Both Minecraft versions are said to feature “significantly bigger worlds and a greater draw distance”, with worlds up to 36 times bigger than those found in the current editions.
