(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – The next gen versions of Minecraft are set to be released next month, leaving many to wonder about the visual differences between both consoles.
Roger Carpenter from Microsoft Studios addressed players concerns on Twitter about the Xbox One’s framerate and resolution by stating the following:
“Minecraft on Xbox One runs at 1080p same as PS4 :),” wrote Carpenter. He also added that the console would run on 60FPS, same as the Xbox 360.
Both the Xbox One and PS4 will launch with bigger worlds and “greater draw distances” than that of the current versions available.
Each will be priced at $19.99, though players who previously purchased the Xbox 360 and PS3 editions will be able to upgrade for only $4.99.
Minecraft Xbox One, PS Vita, and PS4 is set to hit shelves this August.
