Minecraft Xbox One Bug Fixes Almost Complete, Release Date Set For September

Minecraft Xbox One Bug Fixes Almost Complete, Release Date Set For September(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – New information for the Xbox One version of Minecraft has been announced.

Developer 4J Studios announced yesterday that they are almost done bug fixing and are expecting to hand the game over to Microsoft within the next few days.

“Down to the last few bugs with #MinecraftXbox1 – hoping to hand it over to Microsoft by the end of the week!” wrote 4J via Twitter.

If Minecraft does get handed over by the end of the week then we can expect to see a early to mid September release date as certification testing usually takes one to two weeks.

The developer also announced yesterday that they are working on a small Xbox update that will bring Xbox 360 transfer saves to the Xbox One versions before its release, though a release date for the update was not announced.
