(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Motorola’s budget friendly smartphone has many people awaiting its arrival in stores since Motorola confirmed its release last Wednesday.
The Motorola G has a 4.5-inch display that includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with quad-core CPU. Currently the phone is being run on 4.3 Jellybean, but will have a guaranteed upgrade to 4.4 KitKat in January.
According to Motorola’s official blog, the smartphone will have 19 customization options that include interchangeable shells and Flip Shells in seven different colors and Grip Shells in five colors.
Motorola describes the Moto G as “a smartphone that delivers a premium experience for a third of the price of current high-end phones.”
This smartphone is priced at $179 for the 8GB and $199 for the 16GB and does not require a contract agreement.
The Motorola G is set to start selling in the U.S. in January 2014 and can be purchased online through Motorola’s website or through different retailers and mobile carriers.
