(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – The 2012 Olympics in London are approaching fast, and if you happen to be a sports-minded enthusiast, perhaps you’ll need your fix of the games 247. In the case, new applications made available through a partnership from NBC and software company Adobe could come in handy.
An application known as NBC Olympics Live Extra provides different cable customers with live coverage of all events while another known as NBC Olympics provides highlights, schedules and more.
“It’s been great working with NBC Olympics to change the way live sporting events are experienced by consumers. NBC is now able to create, deliver, monetize and measure the Olympics across mobile devices – using tools and technologies that make up Adobe’s video solutions,” commented Senior VP of Digital Media Business at Adobe David Wadhwani in a press release.
Users can access the applications either through the Google Play Store or through Apple’s App Store. The 2012 Summer Olympics are scheduled to begin July 27th and will conclude August 12th.
