NeoSpire Names New COO

(Ping! Zine) – NeoSpire announces the promotion of Jim Ciampaglio to the post of Chief Operations Officer. Propelled by the company’s recent accelerating growth, Ciampaglio, former Vice President of Sales, plans an expansion of marketing and operations activities, led by a broadening of NeoSpire’s strategic partnerships, to raise the firm’s standing among the industry’s top full-service managed hosting providers.

“As the businesses increase their use of the Internet for e-commerce, Web-based services and as a means to cut costs, NeoSpire’s reputation for quality and full service server management has resulted in a strong sales increase,” said Ciampaglio. “Our revenue growth has been tremendous and our list of clients continues to grow. While we plan to always focus on our direct sales efforts for the majority of our new business, we have an opportunity to look at alternative channels as a complimentary means of growing our brand. By adding strategic partner channels we can expose our company to a whole new subset of customers.”

“In a little over a year with NeoSpire, Jim Ciampaglio has demonstrated a broad range of talents. His ability to understand the needs of the customer, his grasp of operations, and his vision for the future of managed hosting services are all valuable skills that will benefit us in the years ahead,” said Mitch Gervis, Chief Executive Officer. “I look forward to working closely with Jim in his new role.”

Ciampaglio joined NeoSpire in March, 2009 from NaviSite, a Massachusetts-based provider of cloud-enabled hosting, managed applications and services, where he was Vice President of Sales for the Shared and Dedicated Hosting business unit. Prior hosting experience includes a role as Senior Director of Sales at NTT/Verio, where he was responsible for the retail sales team, reseller sales channel, professional services, sales engineering and sales support. Ciampaglio has also worked at Verizon, Aegis Communications and MBNA America.

“NeoSpire will continue to emphasize a comprehensive delivery model as the key to meeting customer needs,” Ciampaglio stated. “Despite the recent economic conditions, we grew our company by partnering with our clients in such a way that we holistically understand and serve their individual IT needs. As we expand our customer base I will remain passionately focused on ensuring the customized support model continues to make us different, and better, within the managed hosting industry.”
