(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – New Disney movies are set to become available on popular streaming service Netflix after the two companies announced a new deal Tuesday.
“Beginning with its 2016 theatrically released feature films, new Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios and Disneynature titles will be made available for Netflix members to watch instantly in the pay TV window on multiple platforms, including television, tablets, computers and mobile phones,” Netflix stated via a press release.
Also in the works is the availability of several Disney classics including “Alice in Wonderland,” “Pocahontas” and “Dumbo.”
According to a report from the BBC, the news is already paying dividends for Netflix which experienced a share price increase of 14% following the big news.
