New ‘Destiny’ Concept Art Unveiled by Bungie

Untitled11(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – New concept art has been unveiled by game developer Bungie for Destiny: one of the gaming industry’s most highly anticipated titles.

The images are for the Moon. “Early exploration attempts have proven too dangerous. The City has since classified Earth’s Moon as a Forbidden Zone,” reads Bungie’s website for the game. You can find the two images here (bungie.net).

Although the game isn’t expected to hit this year, further information could be provided by Bungie at the upcoming E3 conference set for June. Media reports noted a truck sporting the “Destiny” logo was recently spotted in the Los Angeles area.

The company previously unveiled new concept art for Abandoned Earth. Meanwhile, concept art for Venus and Mars is expected at a later date.

Bungie is known for its part if developing the groundbreaking game Halo – a title that was later bought out by Microsoft.

Not firm release date for Destiny has been set. The game centers around a mysterious object called the “Traveler” wherein a city has been constructed beneath it as other areas of the Earth are abandoned and dangerous following the end of a “Golden Age.”
