(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – The new Google Nexus 7 tablet has been highly anticipated long before Google officially announced the device during last week’s I/O conference in San Francisco.
Google has said that the tablet will be released on July 30th starting at $229.00. However, with such high excitement, delays are possible.
Not to fear, though. If you’d like to nab the new Nexus 7 as soon as possible, Google has launched a sign up page so you can get the details first.
“Sign up today and we’ll give you a heads up when you can get your new Google Nexus 7, on Google Play or at a retailer near you,” states the company. Those interested can simply type in their e-mail addresses to receive the info.
The Google Nexus 7 features a 323 pixel display, 10 hours of web browsing battery, stereo speakers, virtual surround sound and more. The tablet will be made available for purchase at the Google Play store in addition to brick and mortar retailers such as Best Buy, Walmart, Gamestop, Office Depot, Amazon, Office Max and Staples.
