(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Come sometime next year, Nintendo’s Wii U will get some much needed help in the form of a new Super Smash Bros game.
The E3 version of Nintendo Direct brought some fascinating new footage of the title which included the super exciting debut of Megaman as a playable character.
And while Super Smash will also become available for 3DS, the game could be very vital to the Wii U’s success – a console which has performed below expectations in terms of sales.
In March of 2008, Nintendo announced that Super Smash Bros Brawl had become the fastest-selling game for the company in the American market, accounting for more than 1.4 million copies sold in just one week. With figures like that, it’s no wonder Nintendo is excited about a new Super Smash Bros game.
The company is surely placing its bets that classic titles in the Mario series can boost the lackluster console. Nintendo also recently detailed new releases in series including Donkey Kong, Zelda and Pokemon.
