(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Even though Assassins Creed 4 was just released last month, it doesn’t stop gamers from wondering about the future of this popular game .
GameReactor spoke to designer, Jean-Sebastien Decant about his thoughts on the next-gen game, where he stated, “I think we’re going toward a gaming place where the open world will be shared with other players. More and more. Socially speaking, but also maybe multiplayer stuff. And we will have to consider the open world much more like a platform that we could sustain for years.”
Currently, Watch Dogs is featuring something similar to this in its game. The designer stated that Watch Dogs is “showing us the path for the future.”
Decant also revealed that there are a few things that needs to be changed in Assassin’s Creed 5, but the “core pillars” of social stealth and blending into the crowd will remain the same.
Assassin’s Creed 4 is available on PS3 and 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
