Nintendo Direct Delivers New Details on Zelda, Mario, Kirby(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Nintendo on Tuesday pushed its latest Nintendo Direct video, providing new insight into upcoming series releases for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

“From shaking up the way players enjoy the next Zelda adventure to providing fans with more content to enjoy in Pikmin 3, we’re always looking for new ways to deliver the best entertainment experience possible to consumers,” stated the company’s Scott Moffitt via  a press release.

In terms of game news, Nintendo announced the launch of a new website for Super Mario 3D World ( and confirmed the inclusion of Sonic as a playable character in the upcoming Super Smash Bros game.

Meanwhile, other news involved a free software update adding a new Mission Mode stage to Pikmin 3, a launch date of February 2014 for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, a new Kirby game for 3DS (coming next year) and a shop run by a character named “Ravio” in the game Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.
