(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – It seems as if Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop update is causing many problems on the Nexus 5, with users reporting issues anywhere from Wi-Fi problems to software bugs.
DelhiDailyNews reports that users have taken to online forums to complain about issues plaguing their device after they installed the update.
These problems include SMS issues, poor battery life, multiple app crashes, Wi-Fi problems, and even that the smartphone itself is getting heated up.
The Google Nexus 5 isn’t the only device facing issues with the update. Many are also reporting that the Nexus 7 tablet is also seeing issues with performance and stability issues, making the device very slow and lagging.
Google released Android 5.0 Lollipop in November, adding a redesigned user interface, improved notification center, new keyboard, a new Priority Mode similar to the Do Not Disturb function, enhanced camera, and Android TV support, among many other features.
