(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – If you’ve visited YouTube lately, you may have noticed a change. Google has implemented a pretty major overhaul of the site’s design.
The company recently discussed the matter via its official blog.
So exactly what is new? The most obvious is a redesign of the homepage which makes it easy for users to make their own lineup of YouTube channels.
Channel designs can also now be customized and overall, Google states the changes make the popular streaming service “cleaner and simpler.”
Revamping the site’s design follows an October announcement in which YouTube revealed that it would be adding new original channels to the popular video streaming site.
The tech giant states that its goal is to “make it easier for you to find and keep tabs of what you want to watch.” The company began openly considering a redesign in July while taking user feedback into consideration.
Meanwhile, Google has kept busy changing the design for other services, including the Google navigation bar. For more information on the redesign, go here (googleblog.blogspot.com)
