(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Oracle may have the perfect plan to turn around its sliding stock.
According to a report from All Things D on Monday, the company intends to focus on cloud and one specific strategy may include work with Microsoft.
Oracle tools could be integrated into the Windows Azure cloud platform, something that was expected to be announced later today by Oracle president Mark Hurd and Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, according to the report.
The move could provide a boost to both companies as Oracle looks to turn things around and Microsoft looks to further compete with rival cloud platform AWS. According to a USA Today report on Friday, shares in Oracle had plunged 7% following the company’s fourth quarter earnings report.
