(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – There’s some bad news regarding the highly anticipated Android-based Ouya console. According to a report from Develop on Wednesday, the device had sold out on both Amazon and Gamestop shortly after it was made available for purchase.
The news is a further delay for the device that was originally set to arrive sometime in March. Meanwhile, there’s no word yet on when the product will be made available for sale again.
Ouya was notably backed through a massive Kickstarter campaign. The console is available for just $99 and doesn’t require an SDK or license fee – providing developers easy access to create software.
The gaming system notably features Final Fantasy 3 along with lesser known titles.
