(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – On Tuesday, open source service company OpenLogic revealed the availability of its open source deployment solution CloudSwing via Rackspace Hosting’s cloud.
The solution assists enterprises with stacks, application monitoring, management, cost-tracking, and more.
CloudSwing was originally announced by OpenLogic in October.
“We are excited to expand OpenLogic CloudSwing’s momentum to the Rackspace Cloud customer ecosystem,” commented OpenLogic Senior VP of marketing Kim Weins in a press release.
“CloudSwing has more than tripled the number of users in the first 60 days. As enterprises look to build customized PaaS environments in the Rackspace Cloud, we anticipate this growth to continue,” Weins continued.
Users of Rackspace’s cloud solution range from startups to fortune 500 companies, according to the hosting provider’s website.
As a web host, Rackspace offers cloud and managed hosting, colocation, and more.
Earlier this month, the web host announced Lew Moorman as company president. Moorman previously served in other positions with Rackspace. For further information regarding Cloud Swing, visit: http://www.openlogic.com/cloud/
