(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Leading SSL certificate provider GlobalSign recently discussed a new open source PHP library that it will soon release. Intended to help provide for the company’s automated SSL Secure Site activation solution OneClickSSL, the platform will be free to its clients.
“As more organizations move towards complete SSL automation using OneClickSSL, it is essential for GlobalSign to ensure that all hosting companies, regardless of which control panel or server software they provide, can access the technology,” stated GMO GlobalSign EMEA Business Development Director Paul van Brouwershaven when discussing the matter in a press release.
Meanwhile, the company was set to demonstrate the solution today at this year’s World Hosting Days conference currently taking place at Germany’s Europa-Park.
As a company, GlobalSign provides a wide range of SSL solutions pertaining to servers including Apache, Microsoft Exchange and more. The news follows another announcement by GlobalSign last month in which the company launched a new office location in the Philippines.
