(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Sony is coming to the rescue regarding a self-caused issue for the PlayStation 3.
The problem was initially a result of PS3 software update 4.45 – something that reportedly caused a small number of consoles to “lock up.”
“Hi guys, we have identified the issue related to PS3 software update (4.45) that impacted a small number of PS3 systems earlier this week,” stated Sony via its PlayStation user account on Friday.
Meanwhile, the company signaled the new fix would arrive Thursday, June 27th.
