(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Another week has passed and yet the PS4’s release date still remains a mystery.
We’ve long known, however, when Microsoft will launch its competing console in the form of Xbox One, a device expected to arrive in November.
And despite the lack of confirmation, we can still say we have a pretty good idea on when the PlayStation 4 will arrive. Why? Just earlier this month via its PlayStation Twitter account, Sony shared an image showing a total solar eclipse with text reading, “When worlds collide.”
Now here’s where the November release link is made. A total solar eclipse is set to occur on November 3rd, 2013. Coincidence? We’re betting no.
One thing that is a sure bet, however, is the console’s asking price. The PS4 is expected to retail for $399 USD when launched sometime this fall.
