(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Remote server management is an important asset for those in the hosting community, especially when they’re on the go. On Friday, colocation provider Razor Servers announced a new interface for remote management of their servers.
One highlight of the service is its around-the-clock availability. Razor Servers stressed the solution is accessible at all times.
Specifically, the company says the revamp gives users more server information. This includes fan speeds, voltages, and server temperatures.
Being able to reboot one’s server is also a primary feature of the remote service. As a company, Razor Servers specializes in dedicated, cloud, colocation, and hosting through its Philadelphia, Pennsylvania data center.
Meanwhile, the company’s plans for the interface aren’t done yet. Razor Servers says it’s also working on a “virtual console” and “virtual media drives.” For more information on the matter, view a press release by the company here (razorservers.com).
