(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Respawn Entertainment is ready to make its debut in the gaming industry. Just recently, the company showed off gameplay footage of its first release, Titanfall, at the E3 game expo in Los Angeles.
A mecha-based shooter, Titanfall will arrive for Microsoft-based platforms including the Xbox One, 360 and Windows in the spring of next year.
In the game, users can either play at different times as elite assault pilots or the heavily armored Titan mechas.
Interestingly enough, what makes the game especially interesting is its ties to the Call of Duty franchise. Respawn Entertainment founders Jason West and Vince Zampella are both former employees of Infinity Ward – having helped with the development of Call of Duty.
