And despite the non-arrival, that hasn’t stopped talk that publisher Rockstar Games may still deliver GTA 5 for PC sometime in the future.
A recent hint may have arrived in a listing from Norwegian retailer Komplett. According to a report from Now Gamer, the company has listed GTA 5 as having a March 18th 2014 release date.
Rockstar games previously didn’t rule out a PC version of the game, nor did it confirm anything. “The only versions of the game that we have announced are for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation®3 which are set for a September 17th worldwide release. We don’t have anything to share about the possibility of a next-gen or a PC platform release at this time and we are completely focused on delivering the best possible experience for the consoles people have right now,” stated the company through a newswire post in July.
Meanwhile, it still remains a big question mark if Rockstar will eventually release PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game as well.
