Rockstar Says Lindsey Lohan’s GTA 5 Lawsuit Is Just For Publicity

Rockstar Says Lindsey Lohan's GTA 5 Lawsuit Is Just For Publicity (Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) –  Things between Rockstar and actress Lindsey Lohan are heating up, as the maker of the GTA series claims the lawsuit against the studio is just for publicity.

According to IGN, the GTA 5 publisher claims Lohan’s complaint is frivolous and only “filed for publicity purposes.” Take Two wants the lawsuit dismissed and all legal fees paid for.

Lohan issued a formal complaint in July, claiming the developers based a character in GTA V after her image without permission.

The complaint states that the developer “incorporated her image, likeness, clothing, outfits, clothing line products, ensemble in the form of hats, hair style, sunglasses, jean shorts worn by the Plaintiff that were sale to the public at two years” before the game was released.

Grand Theft Auto V was released on September 17, 2013, for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
