(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Apple is set to begin production on the new iPhone in the near future and rumors are abound surrounding the specifics of the fifth generation mobile device. While some analysts believe the production will involve a major redesign, others do not.
The many rumors follow a Reuters report that the iPhone 5 will look strikingly similar to the iPhone 4. In fact, Apple news site, 9to5Mac is claiming that Apple has already sent out next generation iPhone prototypes to developers. If this were true, it’d confirm the initial Reuters report.
Meanwhile, Digitimes, the Taiwanese-based tech news site is claiming that Apple recently slowed production on the iPhone 4 in order ready itself for the creation of an upgraded iPhone 4S.
Apple is also expected to reveal iOS 5 next month, which the next generation iPhone will run off of. A smaller Micro-SIM card for later generation iPhones and iPads could be in the works as well.
Despite such conflicting reports, it seems that most people can agree that the next iPhone will feature an improved camera and run off an A5 processor.
