(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Samsung devices will soon be receiving the latest Android update if recent rumors are to be believed.
According to ChristianTimes, Android 5.0 Lollipop will first roll out to Galaxy S5 users this month, followed by the Galaxy Note 4 in January and the LG G3 shortly after.
Samsung has yet to confirm this news, though the update is currently available on the Galaxy S5 in Poland and North Korea, with many believing the update will launch to nearby countries before hitting the US.
Samsung’s other devices such as the Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy Alpha, and Galaxy Tab S are in line to receive the Lollipop update next year as well.
Google first unveiled Android 5.0 Lollipop during its annual Google I/O developer conference in June. The update features an array of new features and improvements such as a new “responsive” user interface, a new notification center, battery saver features that extends battery time by 90 minutes, new encryption features, device sharing, and improved audio, video, and camera capabilities, among many others.
