(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – If you are one of many who pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S3, you could be faced with delays in receiving your new smartphone.
The South Korean company recently warned that it faced issues in manufacturing the Pebble Blue Galaxy S3 models.
In a statement according to BBC news, the company announced “Samsung’s Galaxy S3 Pebble Blue version comes with a newly invented blue color and special hyperglaze material.”
“In order to meet the highest internal quality standards and to provide the best quality Galaxy S3 to customers, a short supply of [the] Pebble Blue version is expected in some regions in the next two to three weeks.”
The device was recently made available in European and Middle Eastern countries. While the delays will be affecting those countries, it is unclear if the issues will cause problems for the smartphones launch in the US, which is expected June 20th.
The Galaxy S3 is anticipated to be one of the biggest launches ever for a smartphone. A couple of the popular features for the Android-based device are the 4.8 inch display and a sensor that reads your eye movement, which keeps the screen from dimming.
The phone will also feature S-voice, which could challenge Apples Siri and a super fast 1.4GHz quad core processor.
