(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Samsung’s newest device in its Galaxy smartphone line, the S5, isn’t doing as good as the company hoped, with the device having sold 40% less than its predecessor.
Samsung enthusiasts are already speculating what features the Galaxy S6 could have in order for the company to continue its dominance in the smartphone market.
According to a report from ValueWalk, Samsung’s S5 could feature a improved HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 resolution, a 5.5-inch fully curved display, and a 20-megapixel camera instead of the 16-megapixel found in the S5.
Additionally, it has been rumored that the tech giant will completely re-design the look of its next flagship phone, with a more “prominently metallic appearance compared to previous handsets.”
The report adds that it is likely the device will be available in 32, 64, and 128 GB of internal memory, along with a Exynos 7420 processor or Snapdragon 810.
There has not been any hint of when we can see this device, though many speculate that the South Korean tech giant could unveil it during the next Mobile World Congress, the same event where the S5 was unveiled earlier this year.
As for price, it will most likely be around the same as the Galaxy S5, with many believing it to start at around $720.
