(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – With the CES in full swing, Samsung has yet to release it’s eagerly awaited Galaxy S5, which leave many to believe that it could possibly be launched at the Mobile World Congress in February.
According to the International Business Times, citing SamMobile, the rumors are “about right” concerning the release of Samsung’s new smartphone at the MWC.
Samsung’s VP and head of design strategy, Dong-hoon Chang, stated that the S5 will be made out of “new material,” which indicates it will not be made out of plastic like its predecessors, the S4 and S3.
Samsung is still reviewing whether the new device will feature a flexible screen like many have speculated over the last couple of months.
Other rumors circling the Galaxy S5 are that it will include a 5.25-inch screen, 4 GB of RAM, 64-bit Exynos 6 processor, 2,560 x 1,440 display resolution, and Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
