In locations including Amsterdam, New York, San Jose and Tampa, the facilities will support application streaming for cloud. “Savtira is building one of the fastest GPU/CPU blade server clustered environments in the world,” stated company CEO Munro Robert when discussing the matter in a press release.
Roberts also said the facilities would have the ability “to take on all the challenges of modern cloud commerce and application streaming with ease.”
Such media set to be provided for through the data centers includes computer software, videogames, audiobooks, movies and music. Specifically, the data centers feature DNS load balancing, a virtualized cloud environment, CISCO UCS Blade Servers, connection to commercial building and more.
Savtira is still a relatively new company, having launched in November of 2010, according the company’s website. The company’s eCommerce platform (pertaining to online shopping) features customizable SaaS and Unified Shopping Cart among other features.
