Zine) – ServInt, a pioneering provider of managed hosting for enterprises worldwide, today announced it has surpassed its goal of doubling the size of its award-winning Managed Services Team (MST) in 2010. ServInt also has completed and occupied its new Network Operations Center (NOC) facility in McLean, Va., which includes a new Learning Annex. The new site also serves as the base of operations for ServInt’s popular KickStart team, launched earlier this year.
Since 1995, ServInt has focused on continually improving the customer experience with cutting-edge products, peerless experience, and unparalleled support. In November 2009, in response to the anticipated needs of its growing customer base, ServInt embarked on an aggressive campaign to further expand its acclaimed support structure. After months of targeted recruitment, ServInt examined hundreds of exceptionally qualified candidates in a successful effort to double the ranks of its MST.
ServInt’s brand-new NOC is designed to accommodate its growing MST. The facility is an expansion of ServInt’s worldwide headquarters in Northern Virginia and is flanked by one of ServInt’s Washington, DC area data centers.
To accompany the new facility and its staff, ServInt also opened its new Learning Annex adjacent to the new NOC. The ServInt Learning Annex will provide ongoing inter-staff training to ensure the MST stays current with the latest web-focused applications and technologies.
In 2010, ServInt launched its critically-acclaimed KickStart Program, a sub-section of the MST designed to enhance the experience of clients who are new to server administration. In addition to the rapid growth of the MST, ServInt expanded its management team in other mission-critical tech departments with new Directors of Engineering, Network Compliance and Provisioning.
