(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – On February fifth of next year, fans and media will storm Indianapolis, Indiana for this NFL season’s Super Bowl finale. As always, the event is expected to draw a large amount of television viewers, offering prime commercial spots for advertisers looking to get their message out to the masses.
The championship game will also once again provide domain registrar giant Go Daddy with its largest advertising platform.
On Monday, the web host detailed its commercial plans for Super Bowl XLVI, revealing that it intends to run two thirty second advertisements.
Both commercials will feature Nascar driver and Go Daddy girl Danica Patrick. One is expected to concern .CO domains and besides featuring Patrick, will also feature fitness trainer Jillian Michaels.
Although both ads are yet to be finished (Go Daddy is currently producing them), the company says the scripts have received approval from NBC.
Super Bowl XLVI will mark the eighth time that the web host has been featured during the sporting event, and as usual, the commercials are expected to be a bit edgy.
Discussing the matter in a company press release, Go Daddy CEO Bob Parsons stated, “After seven years, we have a good idea about what we can do that works for us and still be approved by censors – we know how to take it right to the very edge.”
“Critics have suggested we submit ads solely to be rejected, but we don’t … we submit concepts that are fun, edgy and slightly inappropriate. That’s GoDaddy-esque and that’s what drives viewers to GoDaddy.com year after year after year,” Parsons continued.
