(Ping! Zine) – Zak Boca, President and Chief Executive Officer of SingleHop, Inc., was named one of Chicago’s most promising and influential entrepreneurs by Crain’s Chicago Business in the magazine’s annual 40 Under 40 list.
Crain’s 40 under 40 is a prestigious list that highlights some of the most influential, successful, and promising individuals in Chicago’s business community who are under 40 years old. Zak Boca was included in this year’s list as an entrepreneur with a successful track record of building strong businesses in the web and technology sector, including SingleHop, the country’s fastest-growing web hosting provider.
Crain’s noted that Zak’s talent and hard work have led to the success of several companies, including an online advertising network he founded when he was a teenager; midPhase Services, a hosting company Zak sold in 2007; and SingleHop, which has grown from a startup in 2006 to become an industry force with more than $15 million annual revenue.
Zak Boca has built a strong reputation in the web hosting industry, especially among his fellow entrepreneurs. “Zak is amazing,” said SingleHop customer Tenko Nikolov, the CEO of successful webhost SiteGround and server security firm 1H.com. “He is so efficient, and at the same time he is easy to communicate and work with. The way SingleHop does business is influenced by Zak’s unique personality, and that makes the company the best partner choice I’ve made so far.”
