(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – There’s interesting news if you’re both an iPad and Skype user. Skype’s highly anticipated new iPad app just made its debut.
In fact, the service had already previously made its debut, but just a little too early. After temporarily becoming available in Apple’s App Store, the service disappeared.
According to Skype’s Twitter, “To ensure your best Skype experience, we’ve temporarily removed Skype for iPad which went live prematurely today.” Skype apologized for the holdup and made the service available again just recently.
The communication service has made big news headlines lately. Most recently, Microsoft announced its intention to buy Skype. Skype also recently formed an alliance with Facebook to provide users with built-in video chat.
