(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Popular control panel script library Softaculous today revealed the latest release of its platform, version 3.9.
Just some of the changes include an improved search interface, the addition of a reseller control panel, script installations on IPs that do not require domain names, and the ability for resellers to rebrand the platform.
The move follows a previous announcement in which Softaculous detailed the addition of new scripts including Symfony2, Roundcube, HTML Purifier, and PHPlot.
Now the company’s scripts total around 260.
When discussing the company’s recent growth, Softaculous CEO Pulkit Gupta stated, “This year we added 85 Apps in Softaculous, Webuzo and AMPPS, and we are extremely excited to be able to offer 260 applications to our users.”
“And the best part is we are still adding more apps which will further empower our customers to easily review, deploy and manage these powerful applications. We have also made huge progress with AMPPS and Webuzo,” Gupta continued.
Aside from Softaculous, the company provides two other script platforms including Webuzo and AMPPS. Meanwhile, the company is constantly adding additional scripts.
In recent months, more and more web hosting providers have announced the addition of Softaculous to their companies’ web hosting control panels. For more information on Softaculous, visit: http://www.softaculous.com/
