(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Sony has announced that the updated version of its handheld console will be hitting the U.S sometime this spring.
The new PS Vita (PCH-2000 series) comes equipped with 1GB of internal memory, a 5-in front screen with new high-def liquid crystal display, and extended battery life and video play.
“The new PS Vita Wi-Fi model is approximately 20-percent slimmer and 15-percent lighter than the original version, with rounded edges to fit comfortably in your hands,” states the PlayStaion blog.
The device will be available in the Borderlands 2 Limited Edition Bundle pack, which includes Borderlands 2, six DLC packs, and a 8 GB PS Vita memory card.
The PS Vita is set to be released this Spring for $199.99.
