Sophos Explains DNSChanger Via YouTube Video

(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – The Internet could go down for some online users on Monday because of a now defunct malware virus known as DNSChanger. It was a complex operation initially managed by alleged cyber criminals from Estonia and Russia. The malware was known to have infected millions of computer systems worldwide, bringing in millions in profits through one big, online scam.

Exactly how did DNSChanger work and why could you run into some problems if you aren’t free of the malware by Monday? We at Ping!
