(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Sprint is finally unrolling the latest version of Android KitKat 4.4 for their Galaxy S4 users, making this the first U.S. mobile carrier to do this, Engadget reports.
Announced on Thursday, the update features better security, the new hangouts, and full screen-mode.
The update will be released in stages and may take a while for some users to download.
Also added to the update is pop-up removals and Zact Mobile compatibility.
“Prevention Information alert: Customers should no longer receive “Prevention Information – An application has been forced to stop for an unauthorized attempt to access system in your device. It may be safe to delete an application obtained from an unauthorized route. Check now?” alert messages on the device,” states Sprint’s support page.
