StackOps Presents the First Pay-Per-Use Hybrid Cloud to Accept Bitcoins

StackOps Presents the First Pay-Per-Use Hybrid Cloud to Accept Bitcoins(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) –  StackOps, the leading business in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platforms based on OpenStack™, has announced its new service, StackOps.NET, a solution for businesses which offers the latest generation hybrid cloud IaaS, combining the public and private clouds as one platform.

StackOps.NET is a Hybrid Cloud which combines the existing Virtual Private Cloud service offered to its clients in its service zones in Amsterdam and Madrid, with the new Virtual Datacenter (VDC), the public cloud solution developed by StackOps that allows clients to fully deploy their own Virtual Datacenter in a flexible, self-managed way.

The solution is designed not only for those companies whose business needs are unpredictable and who need the flexibility of the Cloud at the best price, but also for those businesses who have a constant flow in their infrastructure and have to promptly manage peaks in demand. Clients have the option to contract the Virtual Private Cloud service for its stable platforms, and to use cloud bursting in the Virtual Datacenter service during the peaks, paying only for the excess.

The StackOps technology based on the OpenStack™ open source project means that clients don’t realise what platform they are using, substantially simplifying the management of the infrastructures. The StackOps technology allows each resource to be consumed on different platforms and at different prices in a way that’s clear to the user, with cost savings and increased productivity as a result.

The StackOps.NET service sets the prices for the services in a different way depending on whether they are from the Virtual Datacenter or Virtual Private Cloud. In the former, it is done purely on a pay-per-use basis, and in the latter, on a prepaid basis. StackOps sends a combined invoice at the end of the month, which shows a breakdown of how much of each resource has been used, based on its origin.

Of all the accepted payment methods, Bitcoins really stands out. The platform integrates the payment gateway, Bitpay, a pioneering company providing Bitcoin online payment solutions to businesses across the world. Other valid payment methods are credit card, Paypal and Direct Debit.

To access the service, you just need to register on the StackOps homepage, at
