(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – If you never purchased StarCraft 2 (a title that came out all the way back in 2010) – here’s your chance now to get it at a pretty decent price: According to a report from Joystiq.com, Blizzard has dropped the price for the first addition, StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty, to just $20.
It’s a deal that runs until March 12. The price drop, however, comes as no surprise as Blizzard prepares to release StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm on the same day the offer concludes.
StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm requires Wings of Liberty for compatibility.
Via Battle.net, Blizzard describes Heart of the Swarm as such: “We’ll take you to uncharted worlds, delve deeper into the hive mind of the zerg than ever before, and improve the competitive play experience on Battle.net. We’re also bringing content made by our community of fans to the fore, and unearthing a playground of new maps.”
