(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – A new game from Undead Studios has given Minecraft a run for its money on Xbox Live Arcade. Released just last week, sales for the open world zombie horror game State of Decay have been off the charts.
Shortly after the release, copies sold via Xbox Live accounted for a quarter million; and since then, they’ve surely gone up a lot more.
Undead Studios was recently asked about the possibility of releasing DLCs (downloadable content) for the game via its Twitter account.
When questioned by a fan, Undead Studios responded by saying, “It’s up to Microsoft, but here’s hoping!” The company also noted it required a “greenlight” from the Xbox maker to carry out the DLC process.
Meanwhile, while a release date is unknown, Undead Studios will sometime in the future release State of Decay for PC. Watch a trailer for State of Decay from gamespot below:
