(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Google’s Chrome is showing steady growth every month as a study by Net Applications showed that the browser is used by 12.52% of the market and ranks third behind Internet Explorer (54.27%) and Firefox (21.71%).
Meanwhile, Safari (7.28%) and Opera (2.03%) rank 4th and 5th respectively, followed by other browsers.
Use of Firefox has remained steady and while Internet Explorer’s overall use has continued to slide, the study showed that specific use of Internet Explorer 9 was up.
To conduct the study, Net Applications used its analytics tool to count measurements of visitors to various web sites.
