(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is getting a new stage from Super Mario Bros. U, Mushroom Kingdom U.
Game director Masahiro Sakurai announced the new stage, along with screenshots, on MiiVerse yesterday, giving a brief description of one of the stages.
“When Kamek casts a spell, the stage transforms drastically! That said, this is not what you would call a moving stage…”
Additionally, Sakurai revealed that users will be able to see Mushroom Kingdom U in the demo version of the game at E3 next week, where Nintendo plans on live streaming demos to players unable to attend the event.
Nintendo announced in late April that they will be hosting a Super Smash Bros. tournament comprised of 16 “highly skilled” players during E3, as well as giving fans the opportunity to play the game before its release at select BestBuy stores.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is set to be released this winter.
