(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Nintendo’s Wii U version of its popular fighting game Super Smash Bros. is slated to be released on November 21st, announced the publisher on Tuesday via press release.
Along with release of Super Smash Bros. is Nintendo’s new NFC amiibo figurines, which will include twelve different characters priced at $12.99 each.
“Nintendo’s holiday software lineup is more than impressive, and out amiibo figures start a new chapter in the world of Nintendo interactive entertainment. With so many great experiences available, this holiday season is going to be an amazing time to be a Nintendo fan,” said Nintendo’s executive vice president Scott Moffitt.
The characters released in Nintendo’s “first wave” of figures will include iconic characters such as Mario, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, and Kirby.
Players can purchase Super Smash Bros. next month for $59.99 or for $99.99 in the GameCube bundle which includes the Wii U game and a GameCube controller.
