(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – T-Mobile subsidiary MetroPCS on Thursday announced a market expansion of its services to include 15 new markets, a move that doubles the company’s reach in a less than three month timespan.
Just some of the new markets include cities like New Orleans, Houston, the District of Columbia, Seattle, San Antonio, Austin, Cleveland and Birmingham.
“We’ve been beating our no-contract competitors hands-down for value, and now, with the strength of the T-Mobile 4G network behind us, that lead is only going to grow,” explained MetroPCS COO Tom Keys via a press release.
MetroPCS, meanwhile, has kept busy pushing its 4G network offering with rates set at $40 monthly. The carrier also recently added phones including the LG Optimus F4 and Nokia Lumia 521 to its sales offerings.
