(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – The new iOS app for Temple Run 2 has already reached 20 million downloads, game developer Imangi Studios noted via Twitter on Monday.
In the game, users control a running character by using swipe and title controls to move past obstacles in an ancient temple setting.
“We are thrilled players want more of the Temple Run universe, and we hope to grow and expand the game over the coming months,” stated Imangi co-founder Keith Shepherd in a press release.
The app was released last Thursday and within its first 24 hours had already reached six million downloads. Another key stat detailed by Imangi included more than 210 million game sessions.
Temple Run 2 is currently available for download via iOS but is expected to eventually be made available for Android devices as well.
