‘The Last of Us’ DLC, ‘Left Behind’, Will Have A Different Feel Than The Main Campaign

'The Last of Us' DLC, 'Left Behind', Will Have A Different Feel Than The Main Campaign (Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – The upcoming single player downloadable content for Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us will feature a different feel than its predecessor.

The prequel, Left Behind, follows a younger Ellie and her best friend Riley, prior to the events in The Last of Us, as they attend a military boarding school in Boston.

“You’ll definitely see a more playful side to Ellie and get to know her a bit better. You’re going to see a lot of different sides to the character that you definitely didn’t see in The Last of Us,” stated voice of Ellie, Ashley Johnson, on PlayStation’s blog.

Users will see a more “playful” side to the game, with combat similar to its main campaign.

“It’s a little bit more “fun,” because you have two teenage girls going through a mall. It’s kind of like a post-pandemic version of two teenage girls hanging out. Definitely not a normal hangout! It’s very different — a little more playful.”

Left Behind will be released exclusively for PlayStation 3 in early 2014.
