(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – With Naughty Dog’s PS4 version of The Last of Us releasing in just three weeks, it’s nice to know that there won’t be any last minute delays from the developers.
Lead programmer Jason Gregory announced via Twitter that the game’s coding is almost complete with the following statement:
“Great work @Naughty_Dog! Gold release candidate for #TheLastofUsRemastered #PS4 is in final format QA. Now we wait…”
According to PlayStationLifestyle, the developers are working on five different SKU regions (languages on disks) and multiple Blu-ray ISOs that each take an hour to build.
The PS4 version of the action-adventure horror game will include a number of upgrades such as higher resolution character models, improves shadows and lighting, upgraded textures, and will run on 60 fps with a 1080p resolution.
The Last of Us Remastered will hit shelves for the PS4 on July 29th, and will include the Left Behind expansion, Reclaimed Territories Pack, and the Abandoned Territories multiplayer map pack.
