(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Everyone is always looking for a good deal, especially around the holidays. This month two of the hottest gaming consoles are making their debut, which leaves consumers wondering when these devices will go on sale.
CSMonitor recently conducted a data study on how long it took previous gaming consoles to be marked down in price. According to their report, four months after the 60GB PS3 was released, the console was discounted by nine percent and after eight months, the 20GB was reduced by nine percent as well.
CSMonitor speculates that the PS4 will drop as low as $364 around March and in about five months, many of the games could drop as low as $20. Also, the report states that the Xbox One will drop to $449.99 around April 2014, just five months after its release.
Currently, the PS4 retails at $399 and the Xbox One will retail at $499 when it get released on November 22nd.
